Arrive in Cape Town, South Africa. We will hold safety breifing at the White Desert offices in Keerom Street, where we will go through each element of the experience and check that you have all the proper equipment and clothing. We will then update you as to the weather situation, and the exact time of the flight.

Prior to the safety briefing, you will already have been sent all the relevant paperwork, a kit list of clothing, insurance details and a number of other details that will help with your planning of the trip. A member of the White Desert team will talk you through each stage of the process.

After the breifing, you can then enjoy the hospitality of one of Africa's greatest cities as you prepare for your journey South.

With the official destination registered as "Unknown International airport" we fly to Antarctica (5.5 hours) and into 24hrs continuous daylight. Landing on the specialist ice runway, we will transport you to our camp on the edge of Shimacher Oasis to begin the first of many activities.

We will spend approximately 8hrs on the ground in Antactica and so there is plenty of time for treks and activities, before we wil board the plane once again and have dinner on the way back to Cape Town
