You will be taken by specially modified 4x4s to the Guesthouse chalets. There are 5 chalets in total situated near a lake and only a few hundred meters from the cliffs running down to the ice waves.

At the Guesthouse, there is a dining room, sleeping quarters and proper toilets. There is even a fabulous sauna and showers! This will be our base for the two days and one night you are in Antarctica and from here, we will start all the activities.

Our guides will take you trekking down to the ice waves to see the incredible ice tunnels. Often Adelie penguins nest just below this site as well. There is also a harder trek to the summit of Mount Shirmacher, which offers spectacular views all the way to the coast.

In the evening, relax over a glass of wine and some fantastic food as we prepare for more activities the next day.
